UOBAM FAQs

UOBAM Invest is a digital platform which offers corporate investors access to two types of investment services: digital advisory through the Digital Adviser and the direct buying and selling of UOB Asset Management (Malaysia) Berhad (“UOBAM”) unit trusts through Fund Direct.

UOBAM Invest is currently only available to corporate investors.

Digital Adviser is offered to corporate investors who need financial advisory online. Simply go through a risk profiling questionnaire and decide on the final portfolio allocation against your financial goals set. Once your setup is final, simply raise a cash contribution to your account. Digital Adviser will execute the orders against your latest authorised setup upon receipt of your funds.

Digital Adviser is available in Ringgit Malaysia and US Dollars only and the portfolios comprise of UOBAM Unit Trusts and US listed Exchange Traded Funds (ETF)

If there are ETF trades tied to your portfolio, there will be foreign exchange (FX) conversion performed on your account.

Fund Direct enables corporate investors to directly buy and sell collective investment schemes such as unit trusts and is targeted at those who do not require any advice. Currently, only Ringgit Malaysia, Singapore Dollars, US Dollars and Australian Dollars denominated unit trusts are available.

For corporate investors who require advice, you can set up Digital Adviser or contact UOBAM at UOBAM.InvestMY@UOBgroup.com to arrange for a consultation with an UOBAM Adviser. Otherwise, you may wish to seek advice from a financial adviser before making a commitment to invest in any of such Funds. In the event that you choose not to do so, you should consider carefully whether the Fund is suitable for you

To invest, you can either choose to contribute cash first before buying or buy first before contributing cash. UOBAM Invest will only execute orders upon successful authorisation and receipt of full gross value of your transaction.

Fund Direct is currently available in Ringgit Malaysia, Singapore Dollars, US Dollars.and Australian Dollars.

Fund Direct does not support FX conversion between the Ringgit Malaysia, Singapore Dollars, US Dollars and Australian Dollars account. Example :- if you wish to invest into US Dollars denominated unit trusts, you will have to fund the account or the transaction in US Dollars..
