Scam Alert

UOB Asset Management (Malaysia) Berhad ("UOBAM(M)") has been made aware of a possible investment scam circulating via WhatsApp messages. These messages misuse our company name, logo, or imagery by unauthorised third parties or distributors to promote their products and services. UOBAM(M) wishes to alert the public that scammers are employing deceptive tactics, including enticing investors with guaranteed returns, misusing our company's name and reputation, and requesting personal details to complete transaction(s).

Please be advised that UOBAM(M) will not request personal information, passwords, or payment details including cash, online transfers, or cheques through unsolicited emails, messages, or phone calls. As a precaution, we urge the public to stay vigilant against scams. Our list of authorised distributors and investment solutions is available on our official website for your reference. Additionally, members of the public may conduct online verification checks at https://www.fimm.com.my/search/ to verify whether the individuals they are dealing with are registered with the Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia ("FIMM") as Consultants.
